After a fast aproach and a long range fire, the narn reduced speed to 6 but the centauri, with damaged retros had to go at speed 10 for the rest of the scenario. The secondary armament of both ship fired repeatedly, both ship taking hit but the centauri having the upper hand. On turn 3, the Rongoth was able to fired it's Hpulse, 10 hits on the aft side of the Altarian, it lost it's main engine, half it's structure and many weapons. But the Dual Array of the Altarian completely destroyed the Rongoth armament. It finished a few turn later when the Narn had no weapons to fired and no way to flee, it's main engine destroyed, the Altarian having to move at high speed but still having 3 Dual array operationnal. They are worth their points, maybe the Altarian is a little underevaluated but not by much. Two good ship quite able to protect teir charge. The five dual array of the Altarian make up for the lack of heavy firepower. The ROngoth with it's Heavy Pulse is real menace for anything in space, the Primus should keep an eye on them, or they will take a real pounding. I was surprised by the number of Primairy structure boxes of the Altarian, 52, that's 30% more than a Primus. Anything wrong? With 72 boxes of forward and aft structure, I feel that 36 boxes of Primairy structure woudl be right. Another problem that seem to affect both, is the fact that teir lateral thruster are only rated at 4, they are capital ship that are more agile than them. A rating of 6 woudl be good. They are best use as patrol ship or escort of capital ship, they stay close of them, killing fighter, engaging other HCV that close of finishing what's left by their flagship. Idea, comments, etc...
