Send reply to: babylon5-wars@CSUA.Berkeley.EDU I tried last night a fight between 2 Rongoth destroyer and a Primus and it's compliment of Sentri. The battle began at 80+ range, the narn working in close formation increased their speed at 16 and then at 20 before deccelerating at a rate of 3 per turn. The Primus tried to keep the distance by decreasing it's speed. It fire it's battle laser on two turn, concentrating on the first destroyer, scoring two hit but with limited result. When the destroyer got within 20 hex ot the battle cruiser, they opened fire with the hpulse, scoring 6 hits on the Primus front structure. At that time, the first destroyer had lost hit's heavy weapons. A few turn later, the destroyer had turn and were ready to engage again the centauri cruiser, the 2 hpulse of the second destroyer score maximum hit on the Primus starboard structure, nothing was left on that side save for a few structure boxes. At that time the Primus disengaged via hyperspace. We had a Primus without it's front and starboard structure, two flights of Sentri decimated and two Rongoths moderately damaged. The Rongoth were outpointed by 250 points but they were able to win without to much trouble! Durin gall the battle, the Sentri tried, yes tried, to harass the Rongoth, but to no avail. They score a few hit on the main thruster and rear weaponry but not much. They were rapidly decimated by the dual array and light pulse of the destroyers. It demonstrated what I beleived before, the ROngoth is really dangerous and if the Centauri dont field heavy fighter or large number of Vorchan to disable or at least destroy the heavy pulse of this destroyer, they are going to have a lot of losses.
