Several people jumped in and played the B5 Wars tournament... For the fighter vs fighter, players ran starfuries, frazi and yes if you can believe it, Raiders... Ken was running two frazis and was doing good until near the end.. One accidently flew off the board.. The second one was toast..He raked up two kills... Jim (from this list fame) ran two starfuries.. Could fly any where any time... But the dice failed him... Shawn ran a couple Starfuries... For just learning the rules, he raked up three kills to take the prize.. Congrats !!! But the man of the hour was Randy... He decides to play with the big boys in a couple Raiders... He scored hit after hit but those bolters just didn't have the umpf to take out his targets... At the end of the session, he was still hanging on in one bruised raider... We can thank Bruce/AOG for this one.. He heard about Bruces post on who would want to run raiders.. So Randy decided to prove him wrong.. :-) (Nothing like showing up to a gun fight with a knife) :-) For the capital ship session, we did Earth Force Civil War.. Two Hyperions escorting four freighters full of civilians.. Three Omegas loyal to Pres. Clark show up to detain the lot of them... The Omegas were also looking for a doctor that supposedly had inside info on Pres Clark ???? We decided to also try out two white stars from Jeff Kozel web page... These came in as reinforcements... I must say the Omega Captains had fun blasting the freighters full of civilians a little to much... Cheers were heard all around the table when they hit.. :-) Had a blast putting on the sessions, hope you guys from the list that played, had fun also... See you at Origins Jim...
