Actually, I have tried a couple battles this weekend using this Jammer rule. I found that it made things MUCH more interesting than before. The non-Minbari actually have to make decisions about EW while the Minbari no longer assume that the opponent is putting 1EW into offensive and the rest into defensive. I agree, it is a double edged sword for the non-Minbari, but at least it gives them a choice. I liked it quite a bit. Unfotunately, I only had opportunities to test the Tinashi using this method. Because its' BPV hasn't been confidently determined yet, the value of a Jammer under this method can't be guaged yet. Hopefully I will have an opportunity to fight a Sharlin using this method soon. For those that are interested, I ran a fight between a Primus and the Tinashi in which the Primus blew up on turn 7 and almost took the front off of the Tinashi. The second battle was between an Omega and a Tinashi. The Tinashi broke off the fight on turn 6 missing it's front and having only destroyed the forward HL's and HPC's on the Omega. The Omegas forward structure was also down to half.
