Game rules- Fighter turn delay of 1/3 to simulate the show Centauri Forces- 1 Primus 3 Vorchans 3 Flights of Sentris Narn Forces- 2 G'Quons 3 Flights of Frazis Battlemap setup- ****************************** V1 V2 s1 s2 P s3 V3 f1 G1 f2 G2 f3 ******************************* Centauri basic strategy- Screw the Frazi's, kill the G'Quons Narn basic stratgey- Screw the Sentris, kill the Vorchans before they can use the plasma accelerators Turn 1- G'Quons fired one Emine each and missed by 2 hexes each (no damaged caused). The Primus targetted the G'Quon on the left side and the G'Quons targetted the closest Vorchan. Frazis for the most part won initiative over the Sentris and a slaughter was about to begin. Battlemap after movement turn 1 ************************ P V2 V3 V1 s1 s3 s2 f2 f1 G2 f3 G1 ************************* The Frazis in flight 2 were on the Sentris of flight 3 to the right and killed all but one of them. The Sentris only hit with one fighter and ended up damaging one of the Frazis. Both G'Quons fired their heavy lasers at the closest Vorchan and destroyed it Plasma accelerator and one twin array. The Frazis managed to hit it with a couple shots too and killed the other twin array. One Frazi was taken out by a twin array from the Vorchan. That Vorchan hadnt targetted anything so it never got its PA shot off. The Primus fired all of its weapons at the left G'Quon which it had centerlined. Needless to say that all forward weapons were destroyed on the G'Quon, along with thrusters and the forward structure was hanging on by a nail. Turn 2- G'Quon 2 fired another emine and missed by 2 hexes again. battlemap after movement ************************* P V2 f2 V3 f1 s1 f3 s3 V1 G2 s2 G1 *********************** The Primus knocked off the rest of G'Quon1's forward structure and did some damage to primary systems. Two of the Sentris from flight 2 were knocked out before they got a shot off but the ones that survived managed to damage a thruster and knock out some side structure. G'Quon2 fired at the closest Sentris and completely missed. Sentri flight 3 knocked off a few Frazis along with the help of the Vorchans twin arrays so that Frazi flight 3 was knocked down to 4 fighters with a couple of damaged ones in there. Frazi3 did manage to hit Vorchan3 with a fighter and did some minor damage. Sentri1 knocked out a couple of fighters from Frazi2 but the Frazis managed to take out the twin arrays on Vorchan 2. Turn 3- G'Quon2 fired an emine and again missed by 2 hexes. battlemap after movement *************************** f3 f2 s1 P s3 f1 V2 G2 s2 V3 V1 G1 *************************** Due to their speed of 10 and the 1/3 turn delay of the game, Frazi flight 3 and 2 rocketed right past the Primus and Vorchans. Vorchans 2 and 3 unloaded their plasma accelerators onto G'Quon 2...only one hit though. Vorchan2 hit with its PA on the front of G2 and destroyed a forward thruster and took out some forward structure. The Primus also unloaded its twin arrays on G'Quon2 and hit way better than average.....13 of the 16 shots hit. They destroyed both of the Heavy Lasers and both of the Emines and did a lot of forward structure damage. G2 fired on the Primus with twin arrays and took out one Primus twin array and did some forward structure damage. G2 fired pulse guns at Vorchan 2 and missed. G1 fired twin arrays at Vorchan 2 and did a little structural damage and damaged the Plasma accelerator. The fighters did nothing this turn. Turn 4- G1 speeded up and so did G2. The Frazis slowed down to be able to turn well enough to get back in the fight. battlemap after movement **************************** s3 s1 G1 f2 G2 f3 V2 V3 s2 P f1 V1 **************************** The frazis continued to pursue the Vorchans and the Sentris continued to pursue the Frazis. The Battle Lasers of the Primus were ready this turn but G'Quon1 fooled him and shot past him. Both of the G'Quons had their rears turned to the enemy to hide their badly damaged front sections and many twin array shots in the side and rear that did little damage. They fired back with twin arrays and some pulse guns to lightly damage the Vorchans and the Primus (the Primus had pivoted and was taking more twin array shots in the side that it had last turn). Frazi flight managed to do a lot of damage to the already damaged side of the Primus but lost a couple of fighters from the Primus. Lucky the Primus had mostly targetted G'Quon1 hoping to have a killing volley. Sentri3 was finally knocked out this turn by a twin array from G2. Turn 5- Speeds remained constant for the most part but now the Primus had pivoted again and was for the most part flying backwards. battlemap after movement ***************************** s2 s1 G2 f3 G1 f2 V3 V2 f1 V1 P **************************** On this turn the rest of G'Quon2's front was blown off by the Primus Battle lasers and twin array shots. Very little damage got through to the primary systems. The G'Quons fired back on the Primus and blew the rest of the side off and got a little damage through to its primary systems. A couple more Frazis were knocked out by Sentris and more damage was done to both battleworthy Vorchans from light pulse guns that had been saved by the G'Quons. Ok, now I am getting tired of writing. Pretty much at this point it was "two tired and dirty drunks that could barely lift a finger to hurt each other" kind of battle. It became a turning war with the G'Quons constantly winning init over the primus and the Vorchans being able to do little damage. We called it a draw on turn 8. The Narns were in an excellent position to heavily damage the exposed Primus primary section and the Vorchans had little structure left on their PA's. Damage done by the end of the game on turn 8: Vorchan1- Heavily damaged missing both TA's and its PA Vorchan2- Heavily damaged missing both TA's and a few structure left on the PA Vorchan3- in good condition, missing no weapons Sentri1- down to 5 untouched fighters Sentri2- down to 4 untouched fighters Sentri3- wiped out Primus- left side blown off, front down to half structure G'Quon1- front blown off, left side down to half G'Quon2- front blown off, left side down to half, minor rear damage Frazi1- wiped out Frazi2- down to 2 untouched fighters Frazi3- down to 3 mixed damage fighters
