Suggestions should you (or anyone) play Centuari in this position: Centauri tend to have an advantage at long range due to higher EW and better fire control. The Primus should have gone full offensive EW the turn earlier to remove some weapons from the Omega. Another thing: the Centauri should not be trying to get closer to Earth forces very quickly - that's where Omegas HURT. It would eb better to move ahead at say speed five or so. > Earthers hit with a heavy laser, heavy pulse, and several medium > pulses, scraping the entire front off the Primus and took a few twin arrays > and structure points off the port side (one Olympus managed to be just that > slightest bit off the angle to concentrate fire on the bow...) > > Turn 2, everyone turns away and scatters. Had the Primus not advanced so quickly it would have had an extra turn to concentrate it's fire on destroying Starfuries which is ALWAYS what should be done if other ships aren't available to do so. Starfuries will eat a Primus for lunch if let too close. Sentris should be sent out early and twins should be brought to bear on the Fury flights.
