Therefore, I've put together a scenario for everyone's general perusal before I spring it on the new playgroup I've joined. I've added it to my Battlefleet Milwaukee page (yes, I've finally gotten around to updating that as well) and can be found in the "Scenario" section at: http://www.uwm.edu/~cthulhu/b5w/b5w.htm Please let me know what you think. "...The Night has a Thousand Eyes" By Mark A. Siefert Date: August 5, 2261 With the campaign against the rebel factions of Earth Force in full gear, President Clark has ordered that all "dis-loyal" ships be hunted down and destroyed. Despite, Clark's impatience, Loyalist commanders see no need to rush into things. Like all good Earth Force academy graduates, they remember that a lack of information can kill you. Therefore, Earth Force intelligence has sent out as many electronic intelligence gathering ships as possible, to spy on Rebel forces in order to organize attacks. The Rebels knew this (it was what they would have done), so scout ships were high on their "to-kill" list. However, things weren't always as they seemed... In late summer of 2261, a rebel task force on patrol detected the E.A.S. Delphi , a Loyalist scout vessel, just within their sensor range. It appeared that the Delphi, was shadowing them, attempting to gather intelligence on their movements. The fleet suddenly turned on the Delphi and proceeded to pursue. As the rebels closed for the kill, sensors indicated that that the Delphi's jump drive was running cold. Why weren't the crew of the scout preparing to jump... unless! By time the taskforce commander realized what was going on, the trap was sprung! A jump point opened on the fleet's rear flank and an Omega class destroyer and its fighter escorts were closing on them. MAP: A B C D E F No special terrain.
