Thanks Wraith * * * * * * * * * * Cargo Exchange: A Scenario for B5 Wars For 2-4 players BACKGROUND: The Centauri have been dealing with a group of raiders lately on it borders with Earth Alliance space. Every tip that they've gotten has turned out to come too late. The Raiders are always one step ahead, and always getting away with the plunder. No one has been able to link them with a known raider group and no one has been able track them to their base of operations. Sometimes all it takes is a little bit of luck, which is exactly what a Centauri boarder patrol had. Along their patrol route their scanners picked up two vessels apparently under going a cargo transfer. Upon closer inspection one was obviously a Raider base ship while the other was typical freighter, probably in the process of smuggling stolen goods from the Raiders to the black markets of various other world. Finally the break they'd been waiting for. Launch fighters! PLAYER #1 (Centauri): 1Altarin Destroyer w/ 6 Razik Light Fighters and 2 Haven Patrol Boats PLAYER #2 (Raiders): 1 Raider Battle Wagon w/ 24 Raider Light Fighters and 1 Civilian Freighter (with improved sensors of 4) SET UP: Map: ABC DEF There is a Jump Gate at 1318 it is under no delay Centauri Forces begin at: Altarin 3528 f1 speed 8 Haven #1 3328 f1 speed 8 Haven #2 3728 f1 speed 8 Razik 3525 f1 speed 12 Raider Forces begin at: Battle Wagon 1310 f6 speed 0(still have 5 turns jump delay) Civilian Freighter 1314 f1 speed 0 (Fighters are still on rails may launch at end of turn 1) (Two cargo shuttles are docked with the Civilian Freighter these are ferrying goods between the two ships) VICTORY CONDITIONS: Centauri: Very simple destroy the Raiders do not lose more than one of your ships as this would be embarrassing to explain to command. Raiders: Finish cargo transfer and jump out. Must make sure the Civilian Freighter gets away. Must take fighters Civilian Freighter with you when you jump out. SPECIAL RULES: Fighter Flight Rules are in use Cargo Shuttles: They take 2 turns to load and two turns to unload. They finish unloading to the Civilian Freighter at the end of turn 1. Each shuttle carries 1 unit of cargo and there are 2 more units to reach the Civilian Freighter before it can get away.
