I've had this one for 2 days but work hasn't let me the time to write it down. Let me know if anyone tries it. Wraith * * * * * * * * * * A Run for the Boarder: A Scenario for B5 Wars For 2 to 4 players BACKGROUND: A Centauri Research facility was recently broken into by and unknown assailant who stole various documents from current Centauri technology research to the next generation of Centauri warship. Through cunning and ingenuity the assailant escaped into the Do'mark Nebula heading out towards Narn space. Calling out all the forces it could find the Nebula is crawling with Centauri forces searching for the assailant and his ship while also preventing him from escaping to Narn space. Sucking up their pride the Centauri have asked the Narn Government for assistance in tracing down the assailant who they claim is a known murderer wanted for crimes not only in Centauri space but a number of League worlds as well. The Narn patrol force in the area has been assigned to help the Centauri but the Narn commander is not all that pleased with his orders as his youngest brother was recently killed by a Centauri in a fight a couple of months ago. If the Centauri want it, his feelings are not to let them get it. PLAYER#1 (Centauri): 1 Mograth Frigate and 3 Haven Patrol Boats PLAYER #2 (Narn): 1 G'Karith Patrol Cruiser w/ 6 Gorath Medium Fighters and 2 Sha'kos Police Cutters OPTIONAL PLAYER #3 (Thief): 1 Seriously Modified Civilian Supply Freighter +8 structure on each block +2 armor to all systems +3 sensors +4 thrust Main Thruster out put of 8, Retro Thruster out put of 6 +2 Standard Particle Beams same as the one already in place Turn Delay of 2/3-x speed Engine Efficiency of 2/1 Accel/Decel of 3 This really isn't a Civilian Supply Freighter but that is the easiest sheet to modify If this ship is not played it stays at full defensive DEW and uses Standard Particle Beams to intercept (decided by Narn Player). The Narn Player will also direct its movement. SET UP Map: ABCabc(A) DEFdef(D) Notes: Map will float as necessary DEFd and anything below it are all part of the Do'mark Nebula. Use rules for Nebula's from the core rules. (A)(D) is considered Narn space and the Centauri may not enter into it. Everything else is part of a board between Narn and Centauri space. Centauri Forces Begin at: Mograth 0504 f3 speed 9 Haven #1 0506 f3 speed 9 Haven #2 0703 f3 speed 9 Haven #3 0705 f3 speed 9 Narn Forces Begin at: G'Karith 3814 f6 speed 6 Sha'kos #1 3713 f6 speed 6 Sha'kos #2 3615 f6 speed 6 Goraths are in the hanger and may launch at end of turn 1 Thief Begins at: Thief 2221 f3 speed 6 (note he/she/it is in Nebula) VICTORY CONDITIONS: Narn: Let the Thief escape either by getting into Narn space or destroying the Centauri force and preventing them from getting to the Thief Centauri: Destroy the Thief as he cannot get away with your secrets. Who knows where he'll do with them SPECIAL RULES: Fighter Flight Rules are in use Nebula Rules are in use Centauri are not here for a fight with the Narn as such they cannot be the first to fire. They may target the Narn if the Narn target them and they may return fire on the same turn the Narn fire on them, but they cannot fire the first shot against the Narn until the Narn have chosen to fire on them. OPTIONS: Jettison Pod: In this option the Thief jettisons himself and his information into a pod that launches from his ship as it explodes. This pod continues in the same direction that the ship was travelling at the same speed and has a defensive rating of 2/2. Either the Centauri have to destroy this pod as well or for a really interesting game they have to recover it for interrogation and torture in which case they must grapple it by entering the same hex as the pod. ===================END FORWARDED MESSAGE=================== - Jamie Coleman jcoleman@a2t.com -- End --
