Where We Left Off..
Game Date: Friday, July 26th
The party is at the Orc village. Later the same day, a number of other villagers who had been visiting with other villages return, as does their Shaman. He is able to heal 5 Endurance points.
Those of you who are awake hear the Shaman shout "Par-vadokanaut! Dīg! Dīg shapīt!" when he inspects the bodies of the slain.
You find out that the two mages were captured by these orcs a little to the south and west of here. They were accompanied by a band of the Uruk-Drokkurvanog, heading North. Activity this far south by the Demon lovers is unusual - most of their villages tend to be in the mountains or the foothills bordering the Daemon Desert (just on the other side of the mountains).
The orcs give you 12 silver tipped arrows.
Amongst the possessions of the two mages: soft leather armor, a couple of knives, one ornate dagger (are those real gems?), a medallion (with the Dark Princes emblem on it).
The lead orc of the raiders had a morning-star with silvered spikes. (Will do reduced damage vs creatures which are only harmed by silver).
Shaprokok, the orc saved by the party at the battlefied, offers to guide them to Juglum Katund, but he warns you that the orcs there are of the tribe Uruk-Voktrodu.
Once the party gets to Juglum Katund, they are supposed to find someone named Kalushrramab, who will supposedly guide them to Amar Das hermitage.

Effects of Altitude
As characters go higher in altitude (say, by climbing a mountain), they will begin to suffer from lack of oxygen. They will tire out more easily. In effect, any work they do will seem harder. At least until they become accustomed to the difference in oxygen levels. Therefore, any level of activity should be considered one level more strenuous. A character in melee combat will lose 1 FT per two rounds.
At the end of each day, the character needs to make a D% roll against (Endurance + # of days) in order to become accustomed to the thinner air. The roll is modified by 2xRanger rank, 5xRanger rank if specializing in Mountains.
The altitude change at which characters to begin to suffer from these effects is 5000 feet.
Translations (for Orcish speaking party members)
The Orcish language presented here is from Orkish in the "Empire of the Witch-King" supplement for ICE's Middle-earth Role-Playing (MERP) system. The Orkish language appears to be a based on Tolkien's Black Speech.
