Needs- 1 hook (I used an I)
2 colors of yarn- small amounts each.
Ch 4, sc in farthest chain from hook,* ch 3, sc in same ch* repeat * to * ch3, join with 2nd chain of original chain. Sc, hdc, dc, tr, dc, hdc, sc in each ch 3 sp, (4 petals). *Ch3, sl st in back of tr of same petal, ch3, sl st in 1st sc of next petal* repeat * to * 3 times, 8 ch 3 spaces. Sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc in each ch 3 sp, 8 petals, finish off.

Attach second color to space at base of one of second round of petals, ch3, *sc at next space, ch 3* repeat *.* till join with 1st ch 3. Sl st in 1st ch 3 sp, then ch 2 (ist dc), 2dc, *ch 3, 3 dc in next space* finsih with a ch 3 and joining to top of ch 2 (8 3dc groups). Turn, ch2 (1st dc), ch 3, 3dc, *ch 2, 3dc in next sp, ch 2, 3dc ch3 3dc in next space* repeat 2 times, ch 2, 3 dc in next space, ch 2, join with top of initial ch 2. (4 corners, and 4 3dc groups made). Finish off.

Add initial color, work one round like a traditional granny. Then do one round of sc’s around, including 1 sc for each ch. Finish off.
