Recipe Assembly Module #30538
The Recipe Assembly Module has a 60mm wide conveyor belt and contains a
pick and place robot, two inspection stations, and a dual ball bearing assembly
station. An infrared sensor at the start of the conveyor detects when a
part enters the module. A magnetic sensor will distinguish between green
and blue parts. (blue parts have magnet in them). A two axis pick and place
robot will position the correct color washer onto the part. The part is
then moved to an inspection station which checks for the washer in place.
The part is then moved to the dual ball bearing assembly station, which
will place the correct color ball bearing onto the washer. The part then
moves to the ball bearing inspection station where it is checked for a ball
bearing in the proper placement. The part then moves to the end of the conveyor,
where it will be either removed, transfered to the next module.
