Transporting and sorting with 3 Axis Gantry Crane #30852


This is a variation of the Transporting & Sorting model. The model can sort components by either size of material. Components are fed from an inclined slide and spaced on a conveyor belt by a double action gate unit. The component is identified at an inspection station, and send down the conveyor belt to the proper storage bin location. There a ram is actived which ejects the component into the bin. Components which do not fill any of selection criteria are collected at the end of the conveyor. A three axis gantry crane then moves into postion, picks up the component, and returns it to the part slide, where the process can start again.
